1. Virtually Open Tennis: Wii at Learning 2007! We will be holding a fun and educationally interesting competition at Learning 2007. "Virtually Open Tennis" will be a series of matches, played by learning professionals of all abilities - on a Nintendo Wii!
Matches arranged for brand new novices to experienced "gamers" will be held during the 3 1/2 days of Learning 2007 in Orlando, Florida (Oct 21 to 24). We will have fun as we play and observe the newness of competing with the easy-to-use Nintendo Wii interface and a championship tennis game. Prizes will be awarded (both virtual and real).
2. Results: Mobile Phones on Planes -- Reactions! Over 100 Learning TRENDS readers responded to our recent request for feedback on the possibility of using mobile/cell phones on airplanes. The complete summary of their comments can be found at:
