2. Alexa Show Me What You Are Holding - Object Recognition: I have been exploring the new Amazon Alexa “Show”, which has a camera and screen. They just added a feature that will detect via visual recognition an “object” that you hold up to the screen.
Starting with household products, the Show will be able to identify and perhaps order through their service a desired item.
Next, we will see it used for identifying a mechanical part and linking to a how-to or service area.
