1. Elliott Masie Adds 2nd Citizenship from Germany - Following from Nazi Times: Thursday morning at 9 am, at the German Consulate at the UN in New York City, I am naturalized for a second citizenship for Germany.
My father, Hans H. Masie, had to flee Germany in 1938, as a Jewish person, and came to the United States. After the war, all refugees and their childern were eligible to apply for “reclaimed German Citizenship.”
While my father had to flee and lost many relatives, he never wanted us to feel badly toward Germany after the war. And, I went over to be at the Berlin Wall when it came down.
This year, I decided to honor my father and apply for a 2nd Citizenship from Germany. It took 5 months and recovering much paperwork. And, tomorrow morning, I go the UN and receive my German Citizenship. My dad, who passed away in 1976, will be looking down and say “Elliott, Sehr Gut!”

Rob will be talking about McDonald’s projects on adding education and support for front line development. 3. Amazon Echo Show - Alexa with a Screen - Performance Support Platform? We have been experimenting with a new version of Amazon Alexa: the Echo Show product. It is a combination of the Amazon Alexa with a video screen and a video camera. It is intriguing to see how it might fit into the workplace as an On-The-Job prompting platform, using audio interactions with workers. We will experiment with it to demonstrate at Learning 2017.
