1. Connect and Content at Learning 2019: I look forward to connecting with colleagues from around the world at the upcoming Learning 2019 - Oct 27 to 29, Orlando, Florida.
It will be fun this year to be a keynoter and learner at Learning, with loads of time to meet and mingle with learning professionals. My keynote on Monday morning will focus on Learning Shifts and Changes as Business and Learners change.
There are wonderful keynote presentations from Dr. Sanjay Gupta (CNN), Lindsay Pollack (Multi-Generational Workplace, Michelle Weise (Learning Disruptions) and engaging sessions from learning implementers in our CONSORTIUM and other learning experts in the field.

2. Voice Functions and Voice Response Grows: The recent upgrade of Apple’s system for Mac’s and Tablets adds an expanded set of voice-based commands. I can now drive and navigate on my desktop and laptop via voice commands, signaling a move toward more verbal interaction with our devices and systems.
In 2020, the Elliott Masie Learning CONSORTIUM will undertake an innovation project to explore our voice and voice interaction with smart speakers and how that will impact the learning and knowledge function in organizations.
