1. Designs Needed for New Leadership Development Models: Each day, I am interviewing key leadership authors as we ramp up to LeadershipDev 2011 (Las Vegas in 2 weeks). This Friday, Betsy Myers and I will do video interviews with Tom Peters and David Gergen, focusing on new approaches and requirements for leadership development as our workforce, business structures and career expectations change.
It is interesting to note that the conversations are not focusing on Content. There is a load of great content out there. What seems to be more critical is DESIGN. How are organizations creating new blends of content, context, coaching, stretch assignments, 360 Feedback, online collaboration and time with C Suite leaders as they update and extend their leadership development approaches?
