1005 - Mad Scientist on Learning, Army Badges Dynamically Change, 100+ Learning Stories

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - August 10, 2018.
#1,005 Updates on Learning, Business & Technology Since 1997.
57,969 Readers - www.masie.com - The MASIE Center.
Host: Learning 2018 - Nov 4 to 7 -  Orlando - 812 Colleagues Already Registered.

1. Elliott Named “Mad Scientist”
2. Dynamically Changing Army Skill Badge?
3. 100+ Learning Stories & Case Studies from Learning Implementers!

I hope that everyone’s summer (if you are in that part of the world) is going well.  Here are a few Learning TRENDS notes:

1. Elliott Named “Mad Scientist”:  On Tuesday, I was honored to be named a “Mad Scientist” by the US Army’s Training and Doctrine Command!  We had an amazing gathering in Washington, DC looking at how the soldier in 2050 might learn.  My task was to frame up some of the vectors that could alter or influence how a person might learn decades from now.

Here is my “Mad Scientist” proclamation, which demands that I “always seek the future boldly, actively question conventional wisdom and assumptions, and passionately challenge the status quo”: https://tinyurl.com/madscientistmasie

2. Dynamically Changing Army Skill Badge? One challenge that I gave to the military leaders assembled for the “Mad Scientist” conversation about learning in 2050 is to shift how they think about a “skill badge or medal.”

Each was wearing several badges for skills or competencies, from tank driving to rifle shooting to navigation.  But, the badge indicated that they were “Ready” for that skill on a specific day - months or years ago.

Are they ready today?  If the person had not practiced the skill in a while, perhaps the badge (through LED technology) would blink yellow.  Or, if the person had a long party the day before, perhaps that badge might blink bright red.  Imagine if data about performance, activity and even bio sensing would alter that badge.  It would tell your colleagues a more immediate state of readiness.  And, it would be prompt you to do an immersion simulation or learning update - before using the skill.   Hmmmmm.

3. 100+ Learning Stories & Case Studies from Learning Implementers!  Wow!  We now have learning colleagues from major corporations and government agencies around the world leading Learning Stories and Case Studies at Learning 2018 (Nov 4 to 7 - Orlando).

These are high powered sessions and experiences, led by colleagues from companies that include: Amazon, Bloomberg, Google, Hilton, Marriott, Orlando Health, McKinsey & Company, Prudential, Visa and many more.  Here is a sample of the organizations represented: https://www.learning2018.com/index.php/stories-content-case-studies/menu-id-294

And, a quick reminder to Learning TRENDS readers to take advantage of the Early Registration Discount which runs until the end of August.  Go to http://www.learning2018.com for details and registration.

1004 - 30 Under 30 Learning Leaders; Google Speakable; TV Production Mode for Webinars

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - July 25, 2018.
#1,004 Updates on Learning, Business & Technology Since 1997.
57,962 Readers - www.masie.com - The MASIE Center.
Host: Learning 2018 - Nov 4 to 7 - Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL

1. 30 Under 30 Learning Leaders Selected!
2. Google Releases “Speakable” for Voice Markup.
3. TV Production Model for Webinars.

1. 30 Under 30 Learning Leaders Selected!  We are honored to select the 30 Under 30 Learning Leaders for Learning 2018.  These 30 learning colleagues from corporations and government agencies around the world are the next generation of learning leadership and innovation.

At Learning 2018 (Nov 4 to 7 - Orlando, FL), they will be engaged in leading, facilitating and engaging in Experiences, Sessions and Leadership Development with the 2,000 learning colleagues.  Our 30 Under 30 will help in programs including The Learning Genius Bar, Hour of Code, Gamification and Immersive Video.  Plus, our participants will be able to be in a Reverse Mentoring program with our 30 Under 30’s.

For a list of these amazing participants in the 30 Under 30 Learning Leader Program go to: https://www.learning2018.com/index.php/30-under-30

2. Google Releases “Speakable” for Voice Markup: A new standard has been released by Google that allows a publisher of content either internally in an organization or for wider external use, to “markup” which items are ideal for a Voice Response to a query to their Alexa device.

“Speakable” would provide a markup language that allows a company to designate which words or sentences would be spoken back to the user when they asked a question such as: “How do we switch the heat level on the cooking oven”.  A document with several pages of instructions and illustrations could also have the key elements highlighted - so that the voice response is targeted and of the right duration for a verbal knowledge set.

“Speakable” will give the shorter verbal reply and then ask if the user wants to see the full document, that can be sent to their mobile device.

Details: https://searchengineland.com/google-releases-speakable-markup-for-news-publishers-interested-in-google-assistant-302543

3. TV Production Model for Webinars: I lead 4 to 8 webinars or online briefings every week.  I have switched my production models to be more like a TV Studio and Video Format.  Here are a few things from my experience:

* Lighting is Everything:  Get some studio lights ($100 to $200) and you will look smarter, 10 pounds lighter and a few years younger.
* Microphones are Key:  Please don’t use the microphone in your laptop or desktop!  For less then $100, you can buy an amazing USB Microphone.  I use the Neat Widget which looks like an old time radio microphone and is awesome.
* From PowerPoint to Evening News Graphics:  Rather than use a lot of PowerPoint, I take key words or graphics and either swap them out for the video feed — or use a “green screen” to insert them to the right of me, as you would see on an Evening News Show.
* Music Helps: The start and ending of each of our webinars will include some music.  I pick tunes that are either related to the content (You Can’t Always Get What You Want) or are upbeat for the day.
* Broadcast Mentality: If you feel it is a broadcast - you will bring your A Game.
* Time - Less May Be More:  The default is always about one hour.  Yet, most TED Talks are optimal at 18 minutes.  Try making them shorter and more WOW!

This does not imply that the session should be just one way - there are wonderful ways to build interaction and engagement into a TV model web based broadcast.  Try it and send me a note about your experience to emasie@masie.com

1003 - Timing is Everything in Learning, A Disruptive Keynote, Magic in New York City

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - June 28, 2018.
#1,003- Updates on Learning, Business & Technology Since 1997.
57,959 Readers - www.masie.com - The MASIE Center.
Host: Learning 2018 - Nov 4 to 7 - Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL

1. When & Timing is Everything in Learning!
2. Vicki Lau: A Disruptive Keynoter?
3. A Magician in New York City - Evening of Wonders!

1. When & Timing is Everything in Learning! As I read Dan Pink’s new book, “When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing”, I have been obsessing about Timing and Learning. Let’s think about all of the dimensions of Timing and When:

* When does a learner like to learn a new subject?
* When is a business most likely to “send” a worker for learning?
* When do we memorize a process?
* When are certain decisions most often happening?
* When do we ask for additional help?
* When does an employee feel confident in a new topic?

When and Timing may often be equally important to the quality of the learning content or design!  And, are we “smart” about the timing of learning decisions?

You have read my frequent rants about the poor timing of New Employee Orientation. More should be done before the first day of the job.  More should be done six weeks after they start. Less should be done on a day when they want to know how to log in, when to get paid and how to start working. WHEN and TIMING are so key.

Over the coming month, leading up to Dan Pink’s address at Learning 2018, I will be exploring Timing and When with our Learning TRENDS Readers. To get started, take a minute and think about how WHEN was “off” for a learning experience that you experienced, either as a learner or leader. Send me a confidential note about it to emasie@masie.com  And, watch for our surveys and conversations in the months ahead.

2. Vicki Lau: A Disruptive Keynoter? I love to book Disruptive Keynoters for our annual event. Someone who will lay down some evidence, experiences or perspectives that will rock our assumptions.

Say hello to Vicki Lau! Entering the Hollywood film industry from Singapore with no connections, Vicki Lau landed portfolio blockbuster movies and shows such as “The Walking Dead” and “War for the Planet of the Apes,” becoming a sought-after visual special effects freelancer in under 2 years, whilst working at mobile and VR early-stage startups in Silicon Valley and Beach. Independently, she had amassed 40 crew members for her short film, which debuted at film festivals, and was also the youngest technical speaker on VR at SMPTE’s conference.

Vicki will provide a Disruptive Interactive Keynote exploring the changing and often confusing world of Immersive and Virtual Realities - as they could apply to the workplace, simulation, gaming and learning.  Vicki will be at the entire Learning 2018 event and will be featured both as a keynoter and also in hands-on labs exploring new immersive technologies. Her bio and Early Registration Discounts for Learning 2018 (Nov 4 to 7, Orlando) are at http://www.learning2018.com

3. A Magician in New York City: As you may know, MASIE Productions also produces Broadway Shows. We are tickled to be one of the producing partners on a new show, Vitaly, featuring an amazing magician, Vitaly Beckman, in an engaging show in New York City from now until September 30th.

Here is a video clip from his up-close magical evening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4f0hR_DUiI

And, if you are going to be in New York City in the coming months, check it out at http://www.eveningofwonders.com/

Let me know if you are going and if I am in New York, it would be fun to have a drink before or after your show.

1002 - Learning Genius Bar, Reading Out of Sequence, Your Ideas, Please!

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - June 28,  2018.

Host: Learning 2018 - Nov 4 to 7 - Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL

1. Learning Genius Bar for Learning Innovations!
2. Your Ideas, Experiences and Sessions, Please!
3. Reading Non Sequentially.

1. Learning Genius Bar for Learning Innovations!  We are very excited to add a “Learning Genius Bar” at Learning 2018 - harnessing the expertise, experience and collaboration of our 2,000 global learning participants.

Our “Genius” Volunteers will be organized by area of expertise (e.g. Design Models, xAPI, Mobile Tech, Assessment, Organizational Politics, Compliance, UserExperience, Facilitation, Leadership and more).   Learning 2018 Participants can reserve time at the Genius Bar as individuals or as a small group from a company with a common concern.

We hope that you, and your team, will join us at Learning 2018 and benefit from our Genius Bar!  Learning 2018 details and Early Registration Discounts at http://www.learning2018.com

2. Your Ideas, Experiences and Sessions, Please: Learning 2018 is Designed For and With YOU!  Be an active part of the design and activities at Learning 2018!  We already have over 70 sessions in development, but we want the input and thinking of our over 2,000 participants!

We would love YOUR help in the Design and Development of the Content, Conversations, Experiences and more at Learning 2018!   We are now deep into the DESIGN of Learning 2018 – Elliott Masie’s 28th Annual Learning Conference – and we want to open up the thought and creative process to our learning colleagues.

Please think about sessions, experiences, dialogues, labs, or learning activities that you want to LEAD or ATTEND at Learning 2018. And, this year we are adding a major addition – “Tech@Learning” – that will explore emerging technologies (from Chatbots to Smart Speakers to Immersive Realities). Please share your thoughts with us via a short form that will take less than 5 minutes to complete:

https://www.masie.com/learning2018ideas

Your ideas and input will help us shape the over 125 sessions, experiences, and activities at Learning 2018. After we receive your ideas, our Design Team will tag back to you in the coming weeks!

PLEASE NOTE: Our sessions will be led by colleagues who are already planning to attend the event and not selling or marketing learning services or products. (If you are a learning supplier and would like to lead a session, sponsorships are still available. Contact Steve Rosenblum for more information at steve@masie.com / 518-350-2224.)

3. Reading Non Sequentially: Well, it is time for me to admit one of my “learning quirks”.  I am NOT a sequential reader. There is probably a psychological term for it - but I just can’t follow the front to end flow of any book - even fiction.

Ever since I was a child, I always loved to “jump around” the table of contents.  I still will often read the last chapter in a mystery to determine if I want to go through the whole sequence.  Even though I write quite a few forwards to books, I wish the forward were in the middle.

So, I am always wanting to give my learners in a program the ability to re-sequence content or to shift the flow.  Anyone else have my “condition” :)  Send me a note to emasie@masie.com

Elliott Masie

1001 - K to 12 Ed Impacts Learning in Workplace, Oculus Portable, Learning 2018 Innovations

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - June 26,  2018.
#1,001- Updates on Learning, Business & Technology Since 1997.

1. K to 12 Education Can Teach Corporate Learning!
2. Learning 2018 Innovations Rolling Out!
3. Oculus Go - Mobile Immersive is Impressive.

1. K to 12 Education Can Teach Corporate Learning!  Hello from Chicago, where I was honored to speak at a leadership session of ISTE, a huge event that draws more than 20,000 educators from the K to 12 and University spaces.  For the last two days, I have been immersed and surrounded by learning technologies that are targeted at students in education settings - and I have been on a non-stop learning journey.  Here are some impressions and follow-ups:

* Learning at each level (K-12, Higher Education, Workplace, Health and Hobbies) is branded as totally different - yet the learning processes and even the learning tech cuts across those spaces.  We need to find better ways to collaborate and learn from each other’s worlds.

* Learning tech and methods from schools can provide great working models for learning innovation at the corporate workplace.  I have seen demonstrations of learner-centered methods and personalization that are immediately applicable to corporate learning.  Yet, we talk different “languages”.

* Educators must get more time in our work settings to understand how the world of work is changing.  It would be wonderful to have 1 month or summer-long immersive experiences for teachers and educators - to get a sense of the changing workplace and work cultures.

Richard Culatta, who is our Learning Innovation Fellow, is the CEO of ISTE and we are already working on ways to bridge corporate education and school level learning.  Stay tuned.  Info on this event is at https://conference.iste.org/2018/

2. Learning 2018 Innovations Rolling Out!  We are VERY excited about the innovations and experiences that we are adding to Learning 2018 - our 28th annual event to be held in Orlando from November 4th to 7th.  These include:

* UserExperience LAB
* ChatBot Development
* Senior Learning Leader Forum
* “Learn to Code” Experience
* Designing for Failure as a Step to Success
* Curation & Learning
* Assessment and Data Analytics Exploration
* Storytelling Narratives for Learning
* Global Learning Perspectives
* Machine Learning - Realities and Hype!
* Diversity and Inclusion Focus for Learning
* Learning Systems Forum: LMS and Beyond
* Learning Roles and Careers
* 30 Under 30 and Mature Learning Colleagues
* Learning Innovations Gallery
* And much more…

Check out the keynotes, content themes and experiences.  Take advantage of our Early Registration and Group Discounts at http://www.learning2018.com

3. Oculus Go - Mobile Immersive is Impressive:  This week we have been experimenting with the new Oculus Go, an immersive portable device.  Its price is much lower - $199 - and it does not require any other computer equipment.  The experiences are cool and it lays out a road to where we might start to see workplace learning content in this format.  Check it out at: https://www.oculus.com/go/

1,000 - Exciting News: Learning 2018 Partnership - Expansion, Tech and Global

57,949 Readers - www.masie.com - The MASIE Center.
Host: Learning 2018 - Nov 4 to 7 - Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL

A Special Note to Learning TRENDS Colleagues and Readers:

Dear Friends,

First, I took the liberty of skipping a sequence number for Learning TRENDS to make this my 1,000th edition.

I started this newsletter/blog back in 1997 and over the years have been sharing professional, business and personal updates.  I have some very exciting news about the future of Learning 2018 (and beyond).

MASIE Productions, along with our Learning CONSORTIUM, has entered into a partnership with CloserStill Media to jointly produce, enhance and expand our annual Learning 2018 event (Nov 4 to 7, Orlando).

CloserStill runs the world’s leading workplace learning events, including Learning Technologies, with three market-leading annual events in Paris, Berlin (with Online Educa) and London, a global digital community, and the industry’s leading awards programme for corporate learning and development professionals.  The London event in February is Europe’s largest annual exhibition and conference for the workplace learning sector attracting more than 8,000 attendees and over 200 exhibitors.

Together, we will take Learning 2018 to its next stage of development and design.  A new focus on disruptive technologies will form part of Learning 2018, with the introduction of Tech@Learning – a multi-strand content program focusing on adaptive learning, artificial intelligence and machine learning, emerging assessment technologies, ChatBots, immersive realities, edTech and venture innovations.

We will add more working LABS, including UserExperience for Learning, Voice Assistants for Learning, Feedback and Benchmarking for Learning Innovations and more.  The participants for Learning 2018 will be involved in designing a brand new “ChatBot” to allow interactive queries and connections throughout the event.  A global dimension will be expanded, featuring learning leaders from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.  And more…

I am thrilled to be part of this new partnership and will continue to be the Executive Producer of Learning 2018. Our MASIE team will be driving the content, curation and activities of this event.  Learning leaders from around the world who work with CloserStill will be featured, as well as over 100 learning experiences from our Learning CONSORTIUM and other corporations.

And, there will be exciting new models for learning suppliers, including EdTech venture startups at Learning 2018.

As you may know, this year we have Leslie Odom, Jr., star of “Hamilton” and author of “Failing Up” as our Featured Keynoter!  Dan Pink, Serene Wang, Rebecca Stromeyer, Nick van Dam and others will also be adding excitement and content as keynoters.

Here are quotes you will see in the press releases and stories about our new partnership:

Commenting on the joint venture with Masie, CloserStill’s Learning Group Director, Mark Penton, said: “We are thrilled and honoured to be working with Elliott and his team. Elliott is an innovator and a disruptor and we feel that our combined global experience in the learning world will make for a very exciting new era for the Learning Conference which we have long admired and respected.”

“It is an amazing time in the world of learning – as new technologies and approaches enable organizations and employees to learn anytime from anywhere.  I am thrilled to have our Learning Conference, with over 28 years of experience, become part of CloserStill’s international group of conferences and events.  Together we will link learning leaders in the UK, Germany, France, Singapore and beyond with the learning executives attending Learning 2018 in the US.  It will be an exciting time for me and our team,” said Elliott Masie.

We already have 516 colleagues registered for Learning 2018.  We invite you to join us as we take our event, in its 28th year, into the future of learning.

Please feel free to contact me at emasie@masie.com and we would love to have you join us in our new global learning outreach.

Yours in learning

996 - Learning Styles Assessments? Branding the Process, Not the Tech! New Curation LAB

1. Learning Styles?  Measurable? Predictive? Myths?
2. Branding Learning vs. Using Technology Name!
3. New Curation & Learning LAB

1. Learning Styles?  Measurable? Predictive? Myths?  At least once a week, I find myself in a conversation about the use of a learner’s learning style - to improve, personalize or change their mastery or performance.

And, every month I find myself in a discussion about the ability of a Learning Management System or some future Machine Learning/AI system to accurately determine an employee’s learning style and reformat the content appropriately.

This is an intriguing and touchy topic.  As a learning designer and teacher, I am always thinking about the way in which learners might desire, choose or reject content or activities - based on their preferences.  And, it might be powerful if we could effectively measure a worker’s style and use that to format and target their learning offerings.

But, is there a reliable and accurate tool, measure or assessment that would really help the learner, the designer and the employer in optimizing educational outcomes?

Here is an article that was just published that asks, “Are Learning Styles Real?”  https://tinyurl.com/y8bjb6by

It will be an on-going conversation, as we explore the roles of Big and Small Learning Data, Machine Learning Pattern Analysis and the various dimensions of Content Curation and Recommendation.

On a personal level, I believe that my own learning styles are both situational and contextual.  Is my learning driven by curiosity, immediate requirements, confusion or other factors? Am I adding knowledge to a domain that is brand new or quite familiar? And, where, when and how am I learning?

Much more to explore and also to challenge as we explore learning in a wider and wider set of formats.

2. Branding Learning vs. Using Technology Name!  I love new technologies.  And, we leverage them at The MASIE Center to expand our learning design.

It is very tempting to use the name of the technology, whether it is Jive, SharePoint, Webex, LMS Name or other - as the brand of a learning solution or collaborative set of activities.

It is common to hear a company say we will have a Webex Meeting or we will share that on Jive.

The challenge is that technologies WILL CHANGE!  In other words, there will be day when your current provider will change the tech name, be purchased, go out of business or be replaced by a new and better alternative.

Take a moment to look at the Branding of your learning systems and platforms.  Consider naming them with an element of your corporate brand or a process focus.  For example:  Jones Corp. Knowledge Center or Connections Alive.

The other reason to not use the technology brand is that your use of it might be dramatically different from another company using the same tech.  Let’s have your brand become part of the learning, knowledge and support culture of your employees’ company.

3. New Curation & Learning LAB:  We are proud to announce our popular Curation & Learning LAB will be held in Saratoga Springs from July 16th to 18th.  I am honored to facilitate and lead this hands-on exploration of how learners, designers and organizations will optimize the finding, sorting and recommending of content choices to learners.

We will be joined by 5 Chief Learning Officers and learning innovators for interactive video interviews during the LAB.  And, each participant will design multiple models of Curation that can be adapted and applied for your workforce back home.

995 - LMS with Attitude, Learning Aisles in Department Stores and Generational SMS Adjustment App

Elliott Masie’s Learning TRENDS - April 1 and 2, 2018.

1. Learning Aisles in Department Stores?
2. An LMS with Attitude - Boring Teachers Are Forgotten!
3. Punctuation and Jargon App for Older Adults
4. A Day Later Note

1. Learning Aisles in Department Stores?  Several of the large department stores (e.g. Walmart, Target and JCPenney) are quietly experimenting with adding a Learning Aisle to deal with customers’ desire for knowledge.

It turns out that people, especially parents, are willing to spend significant $$$ on learning, education and knowledge.  But, there is no aisle to buy learning or learning services.  Plans may include: Assessment Booths (to validate a LinkedIn skill on your resume), eLearning in a box for birthday presents, Career Improvement Packages to use after a poor performance review, and more.

One of the department stores that hires seniors as greeters is evaluating if they can sell coaching minutes at Wizard & Coaching Counters.

2. An LMS with Attitude - Boring Teachers Are Forgotten!  When was the last time you met an LMS that could be funny or challenging, or break through your boredom barrier.  We remember Teachers with Attitudes.  We love to be in a learning situation with a teacher or facilitator that can mix it up and push us a bit.  What if the learner could adjust an Attitude Slider on the LMS?

They could add humor, inspiring comments and even a “dig” when the learner didn’t come back to finish a required learning module.

There is research to show we want ATTITUDE from our teachers, our coaches and our on-the-job trainers. What if we could add it to the LMS?  Why, we might even buy a $1.99 app to let the LMS resemble one of our heroes.  I’d buy an xEinstein-API if I could.

3. Punctuation and Jargon App for Older Adults:  One of the generational “differences” is how we approach formatting a SMS or What’s App message.

When I interviewed Michelle Obama at Learning 2017, she talked about how her daughter would get upset because she used a comma or period in a sentence - and thought her mother was mad at her.

While Google has a great translation service online that will convert one language to another instantly, there is no equivalent for SMS writing.

Watch for a Generational Punctuation Translator soon.  One could write their message in their familiar format and the reader could then have it add or delete punctuation, insert emoticon faces and even shorten or lengthen a phrase accordingly.  It might be coming - LOL!

4. Happy April Fools!  For the past 20 years, Learning TRENDS has had fun each April 1st, where many of our readers enjoy celebrating April Fools Day.  I would have sent this out on Sunday but it was already pretty busy with April 1, Easter and Passover.  So, here is the 2018 Learning TRENDS April 1st Note.

By the way, each of the above items could and maybe even should become true.

Take a minute and send me a quick April Fools Day email to emasie@masie.com

1. Video on Diversity & Inclusion for Learning!
2. Reorder the eBook Sequence, Please.
3. Take a 5 Minute Survey on Immersive Technologies for Learning.

1. Video on Diversity & Inclusion for Learning! We just released a 15 minute video interview with Jayzen Patria, focused on the key role that Learning and Development colleagues and departments can play with Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.   I recently interviewed Jayzen, focusing on key steps that L&D groups can take to support and reflect Diversity.  Jayzen talks about the need to create “Safe and Brave” places:

Video on Diversity & Inclusion for Learning:

Video is on the bottom of the page.

We have a few seats left in our first LAB on this topic, led by Jayzen.  Info at http://www.masie.com

2. Reorder the eBook Sequence, Please: While I have written over 12 books, the world of eBooks is new and evolving.

One request to the eBook Publishers - allow the learner to change the format and style of the books a bit.

For example, I want to have the INDEX for a non-fiction book at the front of the book, rather than in the back.

And, I would like to be able to have a whiteboard added to the book that allows a learner to cut and paste content or add notes and context along the way.

3. Take a 5 Minute Survey on Immersive Technologies for Learning:  We are very excited to be updating our popular report on the role that VR, AR and Mixed Reality may have for learning.   I have asked Bobby Carlton, our editor on these topics, to create a new report, “Immersive Technologies for Learning”, that will take a fresh look at how Virtual, Augmented and Mixed realities are being leveraged for learning now, and their potential for the future.

We will publish an Open Source edition of this book for all to access in May.

I am asking Learning TRENDS colleagues to take a 5 minute survey to help us structure and update this report:
